Building and maintaining successful long-term business relationships is key in the workplace. Doing so requires both expertise as a professional and the ability to connect on a personal level. This connection comes from using emotions effectively, which is called Emotional Intelligence (EI). 

During this seminar you will learn how to apply your emotional and social skills to build business relationships. As a result, you will be able to understand the invisible dynamics and navigate the minefield of interpersonal interactions and thereby build and sustain trust.

  • Recognize the importance of the emotional layer in building business relationships.
  • Be introduced to the concept of EI and its role in connecting with others.
  • Learn about your own drivers for building relationships and how to apply this understanding in practice.
  • Recognize your triggers in interacting with others and how to manage those triggers.
  • Learn techniques for when others get emotional and how manage these situations.
  • Focus on the importance of trust in relationships and try out techniques to create and sustain trust.
  • Develop an action plan for developing a specific relationship in your workplace you would like to improve.
